Who I Am

This is the personal website of Joshua St. Laurent. I'm a financial life planner, writer, and entrepreneur based in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. This site is a personal brand hub — it does not provide financial advice or collect financial data.

What Data I Collect

Newsletter Signup

When you subscribe to my newsletter, I collect your email address. That's it. Your email is stored in my email marketing system and used only to send you the newsletter you signed up for.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. When you unsubscribe, your email is removed from the active mailing list and may be retained in an unsubscribed list solely to prevent accidental re-enrollment.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where traffic comes from. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information anonymously. I cannot identify individual visitors from this data.

This site may also use Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session recordings. Clarity data is anonymized and used only to improve the site experience.

Data Retention

  • Newsletter subscriber data is retained while your subscription is active. After unsubscribing, your email may be retained in an unsubscribed list to prevent accidental re-enrollment.
  • Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity default retention periods, typically 14–26 months.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact me and I will delete it promptly.

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. For material changes affecting newsletter subscribers, I will notify affected individuals by email prior to the change taking effect.
